I can't seem to get the profile stuff on my account changed. I wanted to put in my webpage addy and also change how the radio buttons are set (that is, I want to be notified if someone responds to a post, etc.). I log in, go to "Your Account" and change the data, but when I click on the submit/save button the system tells me that area is for registered users only.

I'm getting a complex. Aren't I registered if my info is in the system???

if you recently joined, did you check your spam folders for any activation emails from wrongplanet.net?? the reason for the activation email is to make sure your not an automated spammer and actually a human. many boards such as wrongplanet.net wont work unless you have opened and went to the link in the email. if theres a problem you can try to email alex at [email protected]

also make sure your browser is accepting both 1st party and 3rd party cookies, with internet explorer, go to start> control panel> internet options then click on settings butten in temperary internet files section and make sure 1st and 3rd party cookies are allowed.

(may be differant with other operating systems and browsers)

hope this helps

Have no memory of any validating email, but I can post, etc., and lot in ok, so....
I emailed Alex. When he has time, hopefully he'll reply.

Thanks again.
