Can't use the word URL until you have made 5 posts? I don't understand that, I've been a member but haven't posted until now because every time I try to reply I get blocked some how as a spam precaution.. then I made 5 posts and tried to make this topic and it still wouldn't let me ( I had to get 6). How incredibly frustrating.

Why do you think that is, its not there as an inconvenience to you, its to prevent the forum from being spammed
maliciously with images or advertisements, I would even suggest the post count be raised to 10 or more before
being allowed to include urls, or to use the PM feature

You can't post the word URL until you get 5 posts? That's stupid. I understand not being able to post links for spam prevention, but not being able to use the word URL? That's not gonna stop anything anyway.

In the past people have joined here posting links. They were spam links or research links and alex added that feature to prevent it.
