PM issues

I have been noticing some errors that seem to be going on with the PM system, particularly with my outgoing messages. There are people who faithfully respond to my messages, yet there were a few old messages to them that showed up to me as "unread", and had been there for a while, and it seems the recipients never saw them. That by itself didn't bother me, as those messages were kind of out of date anyway.

But today someone responded to one of my messages, when I had sent multiple ones, and she said that although she saw all of them at first, after replying to one, the rest of them were gone from her inbox. It seems all of them got moved to "read" on my end, yet on her end they just disappeared. I was wondering what might be going on.

Oh, and this may be of help to figuring it out--I did go through and clean out some older messages recently from my inbox and sent box, though certainly not the recent ones, and I think that was well before the messages disappeared.

I believe Alex has been tinkering with the software, so maybe it is related and temporary?
