People really need to accept that once they post something on the internet, it is there whether you like it or not. You can;t just throw a strop and insist it's all removed. Just leave.

You can delete your recent posts manually, but the moderators of this site won't delete all posts belonging to a certain account, unfortunately.

It is actually more like "cannot" than "will not". Moderators do not have the ability to delete accounts.

But they can delete all posts associated with one.

Ah, okay. I did not know that ... and maybe I just do not yet have that particular button!

Only Alex can delete all the posts associated with a member, but this is very rarely done because it messes up lots of threads. I've only seen this done in the case of spammers or malicious trolls who have posted their crap all over the place overnight. Moderators can only delete posts one at a time. Only Alex has the big red nuke button!

I just wanted to throw a thought out there...I like the Facebook feature of listing posting times as 3 minutes ago or 7 hours ago etc. rather than GMT + or - whatever hours. It's more useful to me than trying to wrangle the math.

Well you could still delete one post at a time, it'd just take a while :P

Sinsboldly must have had that ability when she was a moderator, since she used it to delete at least a couple of members' accounts along with all their associated posts. Maybe she had administrator permissions then even though she was a moderator?

Anicho, I think the explanation why administrators don't normally delete members' accounts along with all their posts except in the case of extreme spam is that it can mess up the site's database.
