help I cant post links ! !! !! !! !! !!

dear moderators ive been a member for a long time yet when i tried to post a link i got a message saying i have to post at least 5 posts before posting a link ! ! but i have many more than 5 posts and ive been a member for more than 3 years!

everytime i try to post a youtube link or a pic link or a url link the webpage pops-up a box which says i failed to enter a url. but it won't let me enter a url in the first place because the "the webpage is telling you that you failed to enter a url" box keeps popping up instead of the box one normally gets when one clicks on the youtube or photo link thingies on the menubar. anybody wanna help me out here?

Make sure you have scripted windows enabled on your browser. If you're using Internet Explorer, there should be a bar that pops down saying "This website is using a scripted window to ask for information, do you trust it?" If you right click on that bar and select "Temporarily allow scripted windows" then retry, you should get a little popup window where you can insert the link.

Alternatively, you can simply code the link using BBCode. Here's a sample:
