I use firefox....although I have special button to view IE only pages (still within firefox).

Haven't tried yet to view wrongplanet in IE mode.

that program is running on your computer. It doesn't have anything to do with Wrong Planet.

what i see is that it looks like windows defender found a virus running and is telling you about it what antivirus program are you using besides windows defender?? have you had all windows updates innstalled??? what version of windows are you operating??

when did this start happening?? did you click any links in email or visit a new site??? did you maybe downlaod something??


win32/wmfap means "windows malicious file application" bad program please run automatic updates (the updates arrive every month on thursdays and it is highly advisable that you run the updates either by turning windows update on or going to tools in internet explorer then go to windows update and download the updates. it sounds to me that your computer is not recieving the monthly malicious software removal tool(comes in the windows updates)

My security's high, I'm unconcerned, it's working like it's 'sposed to. Probably just spyware. It's just the first time Defender caught something.

yea but i have looked up the win32/wmfap thing and it said virus do u have any other antispyware thing to see if what it found was true

many beta programs find false positives. were the program things an innnocent program is a bad thing.
