MidlifeAspie has now repeatedly posted false accusations against me, and I say he is a pompous ass who thinks his mod buttons make him some kind of "god" who can get away what that!

I might get banned for saying so, but MidlifeAspie is either a snake or completely delusional.

I quite like him as a mod actually.

I think there's something happening between the two of you that needs to be de-escalated and dealt with.

I've noticed you Lee being very picky and picking at the moderators, I think maybe as some kind of reaction to being un modded.

I've only really known midlife to be pretty reasonable, though he did say some things in the other thread towards you that I didn't understand.

I am not privvy to all that goes on, so I'm not sure. I'm not taking sides.

I think you should both try not to turn this into insults and things.

I like him as a mod and just because you couldn't handle the iamnotaperekeet incident properly doesn't mean you need to take it out on MidlifeAspie. Get over it, you weren't a very good mod and what is done is done. If you have a problem with MidlifeAspie take it up with him via PM or Alex but don't drag all of WP into your little hissy fit because no one really cares.

+1 It is upsetting me.

I knew from my first day as a mod there was trouble ahead, and it began right then. However, it would be wrong of either MidlifeAspie or myself to publicly post anything more about that.

I believe MidlifeAspie needs some PR-type training, but no, I have not been picking at moderators.

Absolutely not.

Moog wrote:

I am not in any way suggesting MidlifeAspie is either unreasonable or even a bad moderator. I am only saying he is bullying me ... and even if unintentionally.

Moog wrote:

Sure, and that is because they are completely erroneous!

I hope no one here "takes sides" ... but that is bound to happen anyway, and there is where I will ultimately likely "lose" when Alex might decide to simply be rid of me than to deal with MidlifeAspie's false accusations and my "Go f**k yourself" outbursts directed at him.

Oh, please be sure I have no intention of ever doing that! I only deal in facts!

I think midlifeaspie is doing a very good job as mod so far. I did disagree with him about locking threads but that seems to have lessened lately so maybe it was just a lot of dodgy threads at the time

I think the current set of moderators are much better than most I have seen in the past. Most importantly they seem to actually listen to the members and do what's best for the site, without letting the power go to their heads

He seems like a cool guy to me

Whoa! Please tell me what you might believe was improper about the way I handled that! TallyMan had voiced a caution about trouble ahead from certain people trolling or posting to stir trouble or whatever, and I kept a close eye on that and called out the one individual who has since publicly admitted to coming here to troll (even though she is not actually any kind of full-time troll). In the end, nobody got banned ... and now you would suggest I had handled all of that improperly?! I will honestly listen if you believe I am delusional there, but I cannot imagine how anyone else could/would have handled that situation any better! The "war against 'keet" has now ended, all parties are still members here and nobody is stirring any of that back up.

Are you meaning to make some kind of allegation there?

Get over what?! MidlifeAspie's continual false accusations?!

Opinion noted.

Already tried that.

A couple of weeks ago, several of us here were shocked when a poll showed people here believing bullying can be justified here ...

BS.

btw I think calling him a bully is just as bad, if not worse, than anything he must have said to you

Especially on a site full of aspies, many of whom have been bullied themselves

You mods do this, always saying you are not at the liberty to discuss things but whine anyways. Either tell us the whole story or don't say anything at all.

Oh, God. This has happened before. An ex-mod who got demodded got kvetchy and antsy and a chip on their shoulder the size of the Grand Canyon. And I know where this is going, too. Why do I get a feeling of dizziness when I see history repeating itself?

Listen up, leejosepho. Assuming your accusations are correct (which I am not), it may take time for MidLifeAspie to adjust to the power of being a moderator. It took me a little time to finally settle into the role and become anywhere near as objective as I needed to be for it.

Since when do false accusations equal bullying?
