You know - those buttons that added tags to make text bold, italic or underlined, or gave you one-click links and photos when you posted a message. What happened to them? Did we ever have them? Can we have them again if we did? This is the only PHP forum I'm on that doesn't have them (or a few other things sorely missed). Is my geek factor too low for this site?

You can still do that stuff. Click on the "BBCode" link in the options section under the emoticons.

Becuse it's easier to hit a button than type it out they used to be here but now they are gone

Exactly. It's also a courtesy to those unlike you who are lacking in madd HTML skillz. Or to put it another way, why do we need to see what the emoticons look like before we put them into messages?
