Your account can't be deleted and the posts removed, but it can be deactivated.

On the other hand, hang around anyway.
Many people who leave come back - don't they, MasterJedi? :wink:

Users can not delete their accounts, nor can mods delete their accounts for them.

If members are determined to no longer log in, then they should simply ... stop logging in!

You, personally, can't do anything directly to your account to kill or deactivate it - only a moderator can, but you need to ask.
[ETA: or as Fnord says: if you stop using your account it's as good as dead]
