a lot of people don't have their ages/birthdays on their profiles and are posting in the adult forum.

Loophole?

my birthday is on my profile but it's set to private or something like that

If you go to your profile->edit birthday theres an option below that says display.
Display options are:
Day month and year
Show day and month but not year
Display nothing.

One could access the adult forum without displaying their age if they have introduced a date that makes them over 18 on the database no need to display your age to other users.
