This looks like someone is trying to drag people here into a legal dispute!

Why the hell would a police officer go online into a forum under a synonym, sending emails to people that may or may not have posted in a thread about a persons actions outside the forums? It also does not say anything about what the nature of the so called "restraint" is.

And why claim that said person is mostly telling "fiction"? A true police officer should know better than making such claims - that is, if he or she want a long career. Also people should also know that impersonating an LEO, even on the internet, can make you end up in jail.

Sounds like a new type of PM spam to me. Better alert the REAL Phoenix police officers that a phishing scam is taking place in their name.

None of those numbers in the PM match any on the Phoenix city website.

I wonder if I called those phone numbers, if "detective Anderson" of Phoenix PD would like to know:

My real name, my real address, Social security number, real phone number, real birthdate, etc etc.
Hey would you like my credit card number too! I am sure there is some reason you might want it.

I'm sure in exchange for all that information, I can hear some stupid story about "Regina Richards" and the missing minor and the whole ordeal that has caused poor Francis to receive professional care.

This is not how the police or the courts work.
Take your phishing somewhere else!

The PM was sent to me in reference to a thread here that I once posted in, that was in the autism politics and activism discussion forum. If a court really has reached a judgment in the matter there shouldn't be any reason to drag any of us into it.

This does not sound like a 419, it sounds like something much worse, most likely an elaborate phishing scam.

This is not protocol for any Court or Law Enforcement agency.

I thought this was just spam, but then i read the thread mentioned and now i don't know what to think. I still would not call the numbers.
