Total number of members not displayed anymore?

I'm just curious to know, how come the total number of members is not displayed anymore?

Do you mean the box in the upper right corner that used to show total members and current members signed in?

I've been wondering that myself. It was handy because at a certain number of members online the site starts to choke and runs really slowly. It was a good indicator for me to go do something else until the activity slowed down a bit.

As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already.
