Every so often after refreshing a page, I end up being redirected to 'cdn.wrongplanet.net/forums.html' instead of 'wrongplanet.net/forums.html'. I am prompted to log in which is a bit of an annoyance as I have to either refresh the page again to be shown as being logged in again or delete the 'cdn.' prefix. Is this a known issue?

If i'm not mistaken, cdn stands for change detection and notification. So the page may have changed ever so slightly when you refreshed. However, I have not ran into this problem when I have refreshed a page, but I have ran into it while performing a search and clicking some of the result links.

CDN actually stands for Content Delivery Network, and it's one of the things that helps pages load quicker.

Having said that, I don't believe WP should be loading any full pages off the CDN, so that might be a bug - haven't ever seen that one tho.

I think the OP is referring to URLs on the site with the cdn prefix, and I have ran into errors with those, such as being logged out, but being logged back in automatically when i click login or by pressing the back button.

I'm fully aware of what he's referring to, cdn.wrongplanet.net is a subdomain that points to a Content Delivery Network that hosts most of the static content on the site (images, for example). It's not *supposed* to host dynamic content, but apparently it is.
