Can't Edit Profile

I've been out of the WP loop for some time, but I've decided to try joining in a bit more now. I wanted to change up my profile some since it's been a while, but I can't seem to do so. I've tried three or four times, and each time I'm met with:

I'm definitely logged in, so that's not the problem, and I can't figure out what the problem could be. I searched and saw some other folks with this problem but no real solution in writing. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Nope, none at all. Maybe I should ping a mod or something...

i don't know why it would cause you problems (i am a mod).

click "My Account" then "Edit Profile"

if it doesn't work, try the routine of logging out/closing browser/clearing history & cookies/logging in again.... and see if that helps.

It seems users have previously encountered this error when their browser has auto-filled
the first field of the change password dialog box.

To see if this is indeed the problem, when greeted by the error page, look to the top of
the page to see if you have the following message:
Both passwords are different. They need to be identical.

If you have this message, then the solution is return to your profile personal information page and
clear the first password dialog field.
