No, it doesn't seem to have one. I'd like to be supportive of people, but sometimes, I am too overloaded to write a response to each one.

It has one associated with Facebook, but an "internal" system of like/karma does not exist. I would support this though. I am against the FB like button here

I think people were suggesting a like button, so you could acknowledge a post without further comment. Not one that links to facebook, which I would never do. The problem with just using the thumbs up emoticon is the resultant thread pyramid.

Oh, I see. Yes, that kind of system would be good. I've seen it in a lot of other forums. Only issue is that phpBB2 is very dated, and all the forums I've seen with systems like that are vBulletin or at least phpBB3, so implementing it on WP might be troublesome.

Just hoping. I did mean a "Like" button on this site. I am not interested in posting anything from WP to Facebook. It would be an invasion of privacy in some cases.

I agree. WP is a safe place for many and that would be threatened in some cases.
