People seem to believe it can be done and we're just not sharing the secret. They seem to have trouble understanding that really, no one reading the request has any ability to do it.

You are supposed to think about the longevity of the internet before you participate.

If there is a post or disclosed information that particularly bothers you, and you ask really nicely, you might get a moderator to edit it for you. But they are unpaid volunteers so don't forget that these sorts of things are favors. Be sure to provide the link, because thinking they should dig for post X is plain rude.

OK, the problem is that my posting on wrongplanet is causing problems for my friend, who is a world class chess player known as "byakuugan" on most chess websites, including the youtube channel we share www.youtube.com/user/byakuugan86 I am "MUGGELZ" and my friend is "byakuugan" but me posting stuff about my personal life on wrongplanet as "byakuugan" is indirectly causing others to use this information against him, because they assume he posted it and that it is all about him (he is not a loser). They are too stupid to understand that "MUGGELZ" and "byakuugan" are 2 different people, but MUGGELZ sometimes posts for byakuugan involving chess related matters that byakuugan doesn't have time for, but MUGGELZ does not understand that using the name byakuugan for other things is going to cause neurotypicals to believe that he posted it, which conflicts with his chess career. I don't want to cause any more damage.

My only suggestion is that you put 'not the chess player' in your sig or something. Maybe in capitals.
