Can't receive notifications to earthlink

I have an earthlink email address that I prefer to use, but I never get notifications from WP at that address. When I switch to a gmail address, the notifications arrive just fine. I've checked the spam folder in earthlink--the messages are not going there. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and how I can fix it?

It's hard to say. Earthlink sometimes blocks messages. Try adding our email address to your trusted senders list.

I can't find a trusted senders list. I've added your email address to my list of contacts, but that didn't work. Thank you for the suggestion.
