Friends of William Freund's family are sueing Wrong Planet!! !

We need as many signatures and comments as we can accumulate. I'll start first.

Yeah first Werbert goes now WP is in jeopardy. If every heathly member sales a pint of blood we can fund the defense fund. Its not WP they want to destroy they want aspie voices silenced, because they have a false notion we are all one step away from
a profile on Americans Most Wanted.

All members should not disable pop-ups and click on every ad they can on WP - it generates income for Alex (if I am not mistaken) at 1 cent per click.

Werbert is not gone, but not back either. My spider senses tell me that TM1 is not completely back yet also .

I sign. Oh and Cockney, may want to put in a link as to exactly WHY we need to sign this petition (*cough*The family suing WP*cough*)

Well that can be a bit tricky. If the ad placers detect phoney clicks they will stop using
WP.

Save Our Site!! ! this is best site i have found and most of my day is spent here!! ! i would hate to see such a place for HFA and aspergers syndrome people get taken off air or be taken over by nt's who dont understand the inner workings of some asperger's sufferers.

this is only place that i have been able to talk about my interests(door hardware) without people giving me the eyes or avioding me like the plague.

this site also gave me the TRUETH about what aspergers is. i was givin lies and the false info when i was dx'ed in school

i have also made FRIENDS here and talk to them over messenger or website pm's

i also found out i am not alone with the traits and interests i have(never met another door closer loving aspie yet but never know)


please keep the site on and keep alex plank as site owner!!

This website serves an international public of people with Asperger's Syndrome. I'm from The Netherlands, Europe and there are many more from outside the USA. I suggest a change of servers from the USA to a European country if law in the USA silences this website.

i agree with doordoctor on all but one point. This site is a place where people with any type of PDD and NTs can fit in and make freinds.(as long as they have internet access)

It is also one of the most friendly sites i have seen. it gets mean sometimes and toward certain people. but overall it is friendly

It was the first place, on or offline, where i felt like i fit in, even if just a little.

It is horrible what happened (how many years ago), but you can't blame a website that tried to warn the parents. I get a lot of support on this site when i go through tough times. i would probably still be upset over some things If people on the site didn't tell me they got through similar or worse situations.
I wouldn't be suprised if there were other people on this site who have considered doing something like this, BUT didn't becauise of the support they got on the site.

The only way the site is responsible is if the mods and admins encouraged it, but they tried to warn the parents... MORE THEN MOST WOULD DO!! !! !
