This keyword: porn. meaning pornography, does not show any results when you search for it on this site, even though I know that there is a thread with this word in its subject.
Why is this? Is it wrong to discuss pornography or any other meanings of this word here? That seems a bit weird, since it is a serious, interesting and debatable subject in our society.

If the thread is in the adult or members only forum Google won't be able to see it. But it may just be the way Google handles this site; I've only rarely tried using Google to find anything here - usually because the results are rubbish and it finds nothing or too many irrelevant matches.

Edit: Another thought; Google may be working in "safe search" mode and ignoring various words like 'porn'.

Yeah, hope there's something that can be done with that? Seems a bit too restricting. And I don't mind this search function myself, if I should say that, but does this reveal a bit of carelessness from your side since you're not putting up something that is better? :F

Site design is totally beyond the scope of moderators duties. Only Alex can decide what and how to integrate any search features. I'm not even sure he has much control on how the Google search bar works with this site anyway.

That seems likely: "pornography" is found, "pron" and "porn" are not - and neither are other obvious keywords related to pornography searches.
It's also somewhat logical, given the default auto-censor operating on posts made here: this would seem to be an easy way of implementing something similar on Google searches.

But using Google externally, it can be done easily - tell Google to search for occurrences of "porn" on WP with:
porn site:wrongplanet.net

See: http://www.googleguide.com/advanced_operators.html
Or "fill in the blanks" here: http://www.google.co.uk/advanced_search
