I came in the chatroom on this website and sometimes I want to be very serious and have philosophical discussion but at other times I like some humor, so I made some jokes but some of them were jokes about religion so a moderator thought it was offensive. Of course I can understand that, I 'm a fan of Richard Dawkins though so maybe that's why I did that. Anyway, I started talking about my views on science too and when I was around 14 I got into stuff which sounds very unlikely to be true like telepathy and psychokinesis. I can understand that this isn't taken serious, but at some point we had had a discussion about autism and I was very serious about it when I explained what autism was like, I explained that the most important feature was having a lack of empathy and not realising what your behaviour is like, my brother is severely autistic and I 'm autistic too so I 'm absolutely sure about this and I see it in other autistic people too, but I got kicked out and the moderator said that he had enough of my trolling. I really get pissed off and annoyed about it that I 'm serious and that people claim that this is trolling, I have got this on another forum too where people claim that something I do is trolling while it is not. I have got this on other chatrooms too that I don't realise what my behaviour is like to other people, so sometimes I seem to be really annoying for them and they just kick me out. I have got this in real life too that people tell me: Just go away. It actually makes me feel really bad and sometimes I get thoughts because of this which I will not share here.

This is just a topic to make clear that in my opinion it's not fair how I 'm not taken seriously here and how people confuse conduct which is due to my autism for trolling. Sometimes I actually do trolling, but this was not the case when I got kicked out because I was serious.

This certainly ain't the first not is it going to be the last I've heard about WP chatrooms.

I was banned too from that chatroom for apparently something pointless and they also thought I was trolling when in fact the other person was the one that was truly trolling and I still up until this day think of it as just BS.

These bans don't normally last pernamently, they're often for up to 2 weeks iirc? Dunno how these chat things go, I rarely go on it.

Don't blame it on your condition... That will make everything worse.

Why that? If I try to imagine what my behaviour looks like to other people I think it's horrible sometimes, but something is switched off in me to be able to do that automatically. It's just switched off automatically, so I never know what my conduct looks like to other people. Why does that make it worse? Because they think that I 'm a Neurotypical who uses it as an excuse?

Do you remember what your nickname was, or can you think of something very specific that you or somebody else said that I could search my logs for? I will look into it.

Ehm, my nick was IAmNotSanta, I believe, or it was ImNotSanta, I admit that at some points in the chatroom I was trolling but when I got kicked out I wasn't trolling, that's what I don't like.

Might be a good idea to simply refrain from trolling, no?

That's like crying wolf. You just admit to your trolling and then all of a sudden you were not trolling, that makes it confusing for other members. They won't know when you are trolling and not trolling. Think of it as a kid who always lies and denies doing things they have done, then one day they tell the truth about not doing something and this time everyone thinks he did it and thinks he is lying about it once again so he gets into trouble even though he didn't do it. But whose fault was it?

Just skimming my log, I can see why he might have been irritated, but nothing that obviously should provoke a ban. I will ask the op in question about it.

For future reference, the best way to get a ban dealt with is to message either the op who placed it, or any other operator, and talk it out without losing your cool. We don't often check these forums.
