Having age visible but not birthdate?

In the profile settings, there are three settings:

• Display birthdate
• Display day and month (but not year)
• Display nothing

I would like to display my age, but for relative anonymity I would prefer that my birthdate not be visible. I think it would make sense for there to be another option that said Display age, but not birthdate, which would display age within posts but wouldn't show any birthdate information on the profile page. That way people could know about how old a poster is but they wouldn't be immediately identifiable by anyone who knew them outside of the site and who also knew their birthdate.

I'm sure this one has been mentioned before, but it has not been acted upon.
In which case, maybe you'd be better off choosing a date close to, but not on your actual birth date?

To preserve anonymity further having the ages update once a month (so everybody with a January birthday would have their ages increased at the same time). This would prevent somebody noticing the day the age updates and working out the members true DOB.
