How do I set this Application up for use with Wrong Planet?

What bcousins probably meant to say is that TouchBB requires a script (software) to be added to WP's forum software before it's possible to use it on your iPad but unfortunately, as the version of the forum software used here is quite old, it is not supported by TouchBB.

In short; if Alex starts tinkering with various pages to make them play nicely with something like TouchBB, the site will become more unstable than it already is.

Actually, no - in short, this forum's code is not supported by TouchBB.
That's all there is to it.

Would you "tinker" with Windows 3.11 to make it run a Windows 7 application?
Somewhat unlikely...

Nice completely unrelated question. It has nothing to do with what we are discussing, so your argument is invalid.

Moving on -

The site is running a version of phpBB2. That's not all that difficult to make compatible with something. But since this is a whole CMS system, it complicates things. It does not make it impossible, particularly if TouchBB is merely one PHP script searching the DB. Change the DB Tables it searches in the PHP file and problem solved.

I did actually put a lot of thought into my reply, so don't give me a completely unrelated scenario to work with.

Well, if this is an example of "a lot of thought"... :lol:
Especially when it follows some negativity about Alex "tinkering" and making WP "more unstable than it already is."
