I was informed that I had a private message but when I opened my inbox there was nothing there? Any insights?

Whoever sent it maybe changed their mind and deleted it before you opened it.

Edit: Just noticed a PM scammer was whacked. The PM was probably from them. They spam lots of members inboxes with the same scam PM.
