How do I put a clickable link in my signature?

You just type it in as ordinary text - nothing extra is required.
As it does here, if I just type the address of WrongPlanet: www.wrongplanet.net
Check the actual text of this post via the "quote" button and you'll see there is nothing else - it becomes a clickable link automatically.
