WrongPlanet web pages not loading fully.

For the last day or so none of the WrongPlanet web pages are fully loading. Or to be more explicit, the pages visually appear complete but the busy loading icon is always showing in the tab in Firefox - but only for this site. Granted I use NoScript and Adblock plus but up until the last day or so the pages always completed normally.

It's Ok here at the moment, but I've had similar things happening - a page appears complete but is unresponsive for a few seconds with the "busy" icon (the edit screen after clicking "post reply", say) until something non-visible completes. Likewise it just started happening, and went, with no browser changes made here.
I'm assuming this is some local CloudFlare node problem, since it's currently Ok here and not there...

It will likely go away as you say. It isn't a problem as such, just curious if anyone else was experiencing the same oddity.

yesterday my pages wouldn't load at all. so i just said piffle and shut 'er down and went to bed.

I have no issues on my computer, but my Kindle Fire has been doing that.

How much RAM does your computer have? Now you've said that, and Tallyman has stated that some of the mod tools chew the system recourses, could this be the same with the site. Setting off alarm bells here.

I've had this happen occasionally on FireFox, but thought it was just my wonky computer.
