I am having problems with they URL on here.

first off I want to change my avatar, and so went on Google Images and copied an User Related Language, simple enough right? Well when I place the URL in the settings area and click Submit it does not change and it stays the same for my previous Avi.

Also I am trying to post Youtube video's on here, but when I do it just shows the URL and not the video in my comment section. I was able to successfully post a video once, but for some odd reason it will not post right again.

I have tried to "Copy video URL" from YT and then click the YT link provided for me on Wrongplanet, but no dice. Then I tried again. but I erased the "HTTP://" that is in the box you put the URL in, but that did not work as well.

Finally I repeated both processed while clicking "Copy Video URL at current time," instead of the first option.

This quandary is really rustling my jimmies.

What are the dimensions on your avatar?

WrongPlanet is very specific when it comes to avatar sizes.
" Width can't exceed 130, and height can't be more than 160 pixels. In addition, the file size can't be more than 15.77 Kb. "

As for Youtube, I'm not sure what the problem is for you?

Please post a link here for one of the images you tried to use as an avatar.
As Brainfre3ze_93 said, there are quite specific requirements for an avatar which aren't always easily met.

To post a YouTube video just copy the URL from YouTube, paste it into your post, and then type [youtube] at the start of it and [/youtube] at the end.
