Lately I've been getting this error:

Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on www.wrongplanet.net.
Content from w-ads.eqads.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.

Not good... 8O

From the link in the warning, it looks like it's a result of one of the advertisements on the site.

Either it's real and WP needs to work on their advertisement system, or Chrome is wrong about it being a bad site.

Who organizes the advertisements on the site?

I have to use AdBlock or my computer would just be a huge paperweight.

Even if I didn't need it, I'd rather not see those silly ads.

I just started with AdBlock... I don't notice much difference yet, but at least no more warnings.

If Im not mistaken ads on this site come from google ads.

You may not notice but this ads change based on your browsing history and so on so google does a bit of tracking your online searches(on and off wrongplanet) to give you the "most appealing" ads they have

This tracking can be seen as malware but its what sites like Amazon do to show things you may like/other costumers also looked at...
