How Many Poll Options?

What is the limit on the number of poll options?

Can it be raised?

There was still space to add more; but I'd say twenty is plenty enough for most purposes. The limit is probably some kind of (2^n)-1 number, but I wouldn't know :lol:

Actually when I added a 21st option it said I had added too many options, so perhaps it IS 20. Or did you see a poll with 34 options somewhere?

20, according to the configuration areas but that may have been tweaked elsewhere: the site code has been heavily modified over the years.

...and really, 20 options is already a huge number of choices for one poll.
