Complaints about the #wrongplanet chat room? Let me know: I can help!

I just want to try to help address some of the problems that we have in wrongplanet. I find that people there are pretty rude. So I took myself to a spot that is sslower paced and more relaxed. If you are like i am , full of anxiety, you might want to be more relaxed.

Not exactly a complaint, but there doesn't seem to be many actual WP members in that chat... Just kinda confuses me.

dont forget katesmith we also in the channel ##autistics as well thats another autism channel as well i will try and get on sometime depends what happens here at home as i said to u kate in pm theres A LOT GOING ON its not going to good right now oh also yeah katesmith dose seem to help a lot in the channels more then the ircops on that server HI KATESMITH its me ForEverAutistic

its not going good right now its looking like its gonna be really bad lets hope thingd do work out but right now i cant say it is going right way its not going well at this point in time we will know in a week or 2

well one thing is wrongplanet.net chat link is broken and poor cornflake has to keep posting the new link to the chat sever the web link is http://webchat.freenode.net/ and the irc link is /server calkins.freenode.net well its one of the irc links they have a few u can go to it using irc and there are a few autism channels in there u can go to if WRONGPLANET.NET FIX the chat link then people wont have to keep asking what the chat link is all the time and the mods or users have to keep repeting the link all time

Er, no - I've not been resetting anything.

The IRC channel #wrongplanet exists independently of any client accessing it, and all http://webchat.freenode.net/ does is provide a more reliable way of accessing it than the Java-only method suggested elsewhere on WP.
It's not a link to anything - it's just a web-based IRC client and can be used with any IRC channel.

You could also download any of the stand-alone IRC clients available for most OS's and likely find the same reliability.
I've been suggesting the freenode client around here because it seems to work fine and nothing needs to be installed to use it.

no i ment the chat box u click at top of the page between the conact me and shop that is the link that is broken its been like that from the 1st day i started comming here thats why people always asking u cornflake about the chat

Meh, I've never used it.
The few times I've been on #wrongplanet I've either used a local client or the web-based freenode one.
