I tried to get on to WP earlier today, about 3 or 4 hours ago, and I got a a page saying that it was unable to connect to the website's server. I think it also said something about the site's server being off or not connected or something of that sort. So I was just wondering if the WP server or site was actually down earlier, or if it was a bug, or if it just wouldn't let me on for some reason.

The site was down for more than 12 hours. I've no idea why. Hopefully Alex or Sliqua will tell us what happened.

I've noticed the site has been up and down sporadically for several days. Sometimes, you just have to shut a server down and restart it to blow the memory leaks and other crap out. I'm sure everyone appreciates the work the admins put into the server. Thanks for bringing it back online.

I'm glad that it's working again and that it wasn't just me. I hope this doesn't keep happening though, because I would really hate to lose the WP community! :cry:

And of course, right after I hit submit for the above post, I got "Could not obtain topic watch information." :roll:
