For me, it comes and goes. When it doesn't work, IT DOESN'T WORK.

To avoid it all, I don't include quote formatting, long messages and URL links. The wonderful Wrong Planet has turned into Twitter. Keep it SHRT, not "short."

We will all be posting just "me too!" any day now.

This is a forum for people with asperger's. I am just surprised this doesn't bother people that much, I can't even make a post and I am immensely frustrated. This is going to kill the website, I wonder how many replies people omit because of the broken system. This is a shame and needs to be fixed for the sake of the website owner's ad revenue.

Does anyone know if Capcha problems are related to browser or antivirus software?

It's not,it is related to posting long messages IMO. I don't understand why we need an anti spam when this forum isn't even that big. Why can't we just have moderators. This is complete and utter BS excuse my French.

Whatever "anti-spam" measures this website has, it doesn't work properly. Many long-time members encounter these problems, but it seems that if you're a brand-new forum member from India, you can post all sorts of nonsensical crap threads willy-nilly all you want without any CAPCHA problems :(

That said, I love this website and forum, so I'm willing to put up with the occasional inconveniences :D

No, it doesnt.

This is CLOUDFLARE. An extremely glitchy service; SO freaking glitchy, the "captchas" can sometimes be glitched right through. I dont even call it Cloudflare. It's so freaking awful and badly made, I just call it "Derpflare". it is, quite possibly, the worst "service" I've ever encountered. Normally, I refuse to use sites that have it attached to them; that's how bad it is.

But the problems that are mentioned here is captchas deleting posts, or doing infinite loops when you get them right, or.... stuff like that. That's not "working fine".

Yeah. I'll be totally honest here, I'm at a level of near-hatred for whoever owns this place, for A: relying on such a bad service, but moreso for B: completely ignoring the NON-STOP strings of complaint threads about this. I mean, seriously, threads like this have been repeating for a LONG time. Nobody bothers to make any changes to deal with it, or find a different, less awful service. It's all just ignored.

I'm a moderator at a different forum (2 forums, actually; currently I'm speaking of the one I moderate that's related to a game developer). We do not have Cloudflare there (yay!). We do not need Cloudflare. How do we stop bots there? I STOMP THE DAMN THINGS. Ya smash their accounts, and you remove their posted threads. It's seriously not rocket science. You dont need something like CrapFlare to do it.

But what REALLY gets me is that IdiotFlare cant spot the bots on THIS site. They are, quite possibly, the most blatantly obvious bots I've ever seen, usually posting absolute gibberish; like, 30 freaking pages of it. And StupidFlare CANT SPOT THIS??? If you look at their site, half of the thing's reason for existing is to stop bots. And it cant even do that! Who PAYS for something like this?

At this point, honestly... I dont want to know.

But, dont give up though. Like I said, sometimes it's possible to glitch through Cloudflare's captchas (what kind of security service can have it's captchas glitched through?). Or do other things. It just depends on what derpage it's doing exactly. The back button on your browser is your friend.

Yup. An even better practice is to always highlight and copy the entire text of your message BEFORE you click the SUBMIT button. That way, your message gets saved even if the back button won't restore it.

That doesn't do anything. I will copy and paste the message and try again and STILL will not work. IT is absolute nonsense if you ask me.

Again, back button.

When you do the glitchy captcha, and it deletes everything, DONT just submit again or copy-paste, if you've tried the copy-paste before and had it not work. Instead, hit "back" on your browser twice. Cloudflare's puny existence cannot handle the mindblowing effect of this. When you resubmit the text... which will have reappeared... it'll probably do the captcha again, but that time, it'll go through.

That this sort of thing A: works and B: is necessary is just proof of how terrible this service is. Further proof, that is...

The captcha monster found me last Saturday. First I was unable to post links, then unable to post anything without it appearing and looping. Just testing to see if it is gone.

It seems to be gone, or someone has fixed something.

I had it this morning while quoting someone.

I had successfully solved two street sign riddles, when it asked me to copy a text and insert into a window. Problem was, there was no submit button, and pressing 'enter' on my smartphone wasn't doing anything, so yeah.

^ Yeah, the version I saw didn't have submit button, either. Pressing enter deleted what I had intended to post.
