How do I get my newly uploaded avatar to show up on posts?

A couple of days ago I uploaded and saved a new avatar (Jadzia Dax from Start Trek: DS9) . It is visible on my account/profile page, BUT it does not show up on posts or comments I make. My old avatar (a stock TMNT from WP) still shows up on posts/comments.

How do I get my new avatar to work? Or, how do I stop the old avatar from still showing up as my current avatar?

I'm having the same problem. D: I'm not even into Prussia anymore. I want to change it to my hero, Takeru (Don't ask. It's a long story... but PelleK is gone from my life). I've had this problem for the longest time. It's like... you can't even change the avatar anymore now.

try hard refresh, try in different browser, maybe it is cached client-side (mine updates instantly)

with LokiofSassgard i see an avatar of an anime thing with purple hair and green t-shirt, is this the new or the old one? i think the new one

I have tried a hard refresh, reboot, Firefox, Chrome, logging out and back in. Nothing works. Seems the site is pretty glitchy these days. Nicknames don't show up either but are required. Weird. The birthday format is screwed up too, but someone told me a work around for that.

Wasn't there a massive update of the site a while back? Maybe that's where all the weirdness is coming from.

Alex Plank really needs to get on all the problems this site has had (apparently) since the big upgrade. Surprised it's gone on this long.

Alex recently made a thread asking if anyone could help with the bugs. Clearly he is thinking about how to fix it.

yeah, in november. there was nothing really wrong with this site after that, besides the unavailability of custom rank and the colors which bothered some people, but users found their ways around it. there was then a second stage of the migration later on, which is apparently where most of the bugs come from.

i disabled my avatar using adblock a while ago, can't stand to see it anymore.
