Why doesn't it show the correct age?

I typed my birthday in my profile as March 22, 1990 (03/22/1990) and it says I am 45 on my profile. How can I fix this?

must be (another) glitch. i typed my birthdate into the settings in multiple different formats, and it still did not show up.

all ages became public for a couple hours after the move in november. after this was fixed, none were visible. now after the profile changes, all were visible again- and then only some were. it's dynamic!

It's odd. I'm starting to feel like my age is the only one that's correct o_O

I have had the same problem, and my account also showed that I am 45. It would be nice if I could turn back the clock, but I haven't been 45 for about a decade. Since it's not a big issue with me I didn't raise a stink about it, but it is puzzling. It also makes me wonder what else may be wrong with the site

I got a PM last week from a rather confused member saying that my signature says that I'm 24 but my profile says I'm 45 or something like that. I was like ''what the f??'', as I have typed in my correct date of birth too. Makes me look like a liar trying to lie about my age or something!

I'm also 45, according to my profile. 2028 sure got here quick.

and evidently, if you're not 45, you're 15. saw a few members displaying that age that i know aren't 15.

My profile also says that I am 45, but I was born in 2003. Weird o_0

Oh wonderful. Now a 12 year old has access to the adult forum. Having an age block on a specific section doesn't help if there's a glitch that makes people the wrong age, including people who aren't supposed to go in there.

I changed my birthday from 00/00/0000 to 00-00-0000(fill in) and it now shows correctly

Thanks. I had the dashes but I had my day and month swapped around. No it shows the correct age for me, both under my name in each post as well as on my profile.

You know, I literally typed in 00-00-0000 thinking that was what you meant and it said that I was 903 years old. Then 11-11-1111 said I was 1915 years old. Then I realized that I just needed to swap the slashes for dashes and all is well. Thanks for figuring it out.

I pulled up My Account and the birthdate was day-month-year for some reason. I changed it to month-day-year and now it shows my correct age.

tried this and worked perfectly! had my age displayed for a few seconds before deciding to hide it again (voluntarily this time).

I was just about to start a thread on this. I got a hunch that a new member was a teen and checked the profile and it says he is 45, even though in his bio he says he is 18. Mine keeps going to 45 too when I put in my year 2000 birth date.

Edit: Oh well I saw Alex is aware of it so no worries. I have my age in my sig. I think it's only fair to let adult members know they are dealing with a teenage snot
