I haven't posted in this site for over a month, let alone been here. After upgrading computer 1's OS, I attempted to login earlier today and was told that my IP address was permanantly banned. -- I am able to login with no problem on computer 2 from which I am posting this on the same home network that I attempted to login with earlier. -- At the same time, AFAIK Time Warner uses dynamic IP addresing, and I have done nothing to earn a suspension from this site, let alone a permanant ban. --So, what's happening with WP?

everyone's been getting that. not exactly sure why, but i doubt it has anything to do with the computers and IP's you were using, probably just a coincidence.

still, we have been trying to IP ban less and less, in case members that use dynamic IPs do get caught behind a blocked/banned IP.

I remember that used to happen to me quite a few times, it often means you would have to normally restart your router or connection in order for your ip address to change since nowadays most IP's are dynamic.
