No automatic log in!

Since the big clean-up, I haven´t been able to log in automatically. I can´t use the link; I recieve.
The login process goes like this now:

1: I click on link and am sent to login.
2. I log in and request to be logged on automatically at each visit.
3. I am sent to the confirmation site ("Remember me).
4. I end up on my profile page, where suddenly my avatar is missing and no new avatar will be accepted.
5. I ignore it and go straight to the forum and everything seems normal.

After that I can log in as normally a few times close to one another - and then I have to go through the whole cirkus once more- each and every time.

Does it work this way for others too?

It is completely normal from today. Everything works now! Thank you, team!

the only problem i have is that i have to login every day now. i didn't have to before.

I use Opera for web browsing and a Linux operating system.

One day, I logged into the various web sites I want to be always logged in for, closed the tabs, and then went to the remove cookies function and removed all cookies except for the sites to log in and then closed the browser.

Then I made the cookie file read only.

So now when I start the browser, the only cookies in it are those that I intentionally left in it way back when. For other sites, it seems to work pretty good, but it never worked on this site.

This has been happening in recent weeks to me. Where every time I go to WP I am logged on, now I have to sign in every time, even if I was a few hours since my last visit. My log in information is stored so all I really have to do is press the log in button, but it is getting a bit irritating. Is there any way to correct this issue?

O´Oh! It´s gone again.
I can´t log on directly to link, but have to ask the system to remember me, whereafter I am being sent to my profile, which claims, that there is no avatar - an no new avatar is permitted either - so I click "forum" and try to remember, where to find the thread, that the link should have linked to.
