I remember several months ago I could have my thread removed by a mod if I wanted to. Now all of a sudden we are not allowed to delete threads. Why is that? I have some threads that I would like to remove and it kind of makes me mad that I cannot do that.

Mods specifically rejected such a request?

Be more careful about what you post. Never post anything that might embarrass you later.

There should still be some leeway... even Wikipedia is more liberal with self-requests, and that's not even a forum...

Because Alex told us that he does not want us deleting threads once other people have responded to it.
