This appears from time to time "Autism Treatment":

Image

It is inappropriate because it is most likely just out to sucker in parents or afflicted individuals without enough critical thinking, who want to "treat" themselves or their kids with stem cells, believing that there really is a working treatment and they are going to spend money on that giving a false hope.

It would be good if Alex or someone from the forum could contact the ad provider in question and ask them to remove this scam permanently.

Yes, I used to get this ad a lot, too.

Unfortunately, there are lots of autism-related ads like this, and when you visit a forum like this, they're bound to come up. You could always use incognito mode.

Plus lot of ads could contain a virus so I wouldn't click on anything. I also have ad block so I won't accidentally click on one of the ads. Back then we had pop ups, now we have ads.

uBlock Origin, that's all you need. Greasemonkey with the Anti Adblock Killer script is good to have too, but you only need it if you're having problems accessing things with an adblocker installed.
