Getting Error messages 520-524 often now. Sometimes it takes 1/2 hour to get into the forum. Other times just very slow to have a post go through.

I agree. Posting from here in the UK, where far fewer WP members are based, I notice a massive drop in performance during the hours that US members are typically most active - including "site unavailable" messages, random logging out, and more problems with the Captchas.

Web diagnostics definitely point to the WP site itself as the cause - routing between here and the US is shown to be performing properly at all times.

Unusually, WP is working much better for me now than it usually does. I don't know why.

If you press the refresh button more than a few times, it'll slow down to a stall and maybe even get a 502 or a 404. Try to reduce your ping, I don't work here lol but its my guess that cloudflare makes sure too much bandwidth is not being used. If you open a lot of pages at once or refresh a page a lot then you have high ping. I also notice the site is slow in general sometimes but always seems to load if you just let it wait for 5 and even 10 plus minutes. I play skyrim when that happens, I assume cloudflare is just splitting up the bandwidth and there are a lot of users on.

Nothing stalls like a bad captcha. There are no more new resolutions for people using this site anymore. I can only mildly assume that U.s cloudfare is set up to avoid over exposure from British colonies and non E.U countries.
I can't see it helping anyone who is a non U.S citizen. I'm finding it more complicated and confusing now than ever before. Ah, well, posting here non-stop is not for everybody's sins. Enjoying a non-topical arrangement seems the best option so far.

The CAPTCHAs here have been acting up again, and they're being tripped by multiquoted messages, as usual. I made a post in the Adult section the other day that tripped it too, so I dunno, maybe there's a language filter component to it.

i often have up to 30 WP tabs open at a time but i don't get the site offline message until i've worked my way down to the last four or five.
