Does this site want donations?

Does it cost money to run Wrong Planet, and is there a way for members to donate somewhere on the site? I'm new, and just wondering because I appreciate that this place has been made available, and would consider making a small donation every so often, if it would help keep Wrong Planet up and running!

most sites cost something to run, wp is nothing different. most or all of our funding nowadays comes from ads but i'm not too sure. on the old site there was a feature to give a monthly or one time donation, even then it wasn't very obvious: http://wrongplanet.net/supporters.htm but at this point i'm pretty sure it's defunct, considering that ancient thing is nearly orphaned.

if you see any members with the "WP supporter" badge, they'e the ones that gave $$.

i don't see why WP couldn't use donations now but i think you would have to ask alex about specifics.
