Friend and Foe functions seem to be basically useless

All the foe function seems to do is hide someone's comments in post summary, which doesn't make them any less obnoxious as all their posts can still be seen. It definitely doesn't keep them from spamming your threads with their ignorant, combative replies. The friend option appears to be equally useless, I'm not exactly sure what it does.

Friend and foe messages show up highlighted as different colours in your inbox :)
Not very useful, but a neat feature I guess.

Yeah, for some reason that's all it does on here. (I've been on other sites where it will hide the actual posts in threads and all it will say is that there is a post there by x who is on your foe list, with an option to read the post, otherwise it will stay blank.)
And PMs from foes and friends will be color coded, green for friends, red for foes.

Its only function seems to be that it lets you know if anyone on your friends list is logged on. (You have to go to your inbox to see it.)
