I hope it's OK to create a topic for the sole purpose of this, likely, insignificant inquiry.

I have often wondered how one goes about separating quoted text and addressing each part, separately/in succession, within one single post (if I am making sense). Would I simply type between each part of the post I am quoting, or, do I need to do something specific, in addition to merely dividing the text into parts, and typing between each part?

Thank you very much, in advance!

You need to put [ quote] ( without the space) at the beginning of each part and [/quote] at the end of each part.

You can highlight the text you want to respond to, then press the quote icon on the toolbar (it's between the underline and the link icon)

If you want to use the person's username, you need to have [ quote="Raleigh"] (without the space) at the beginning and [ /quote] (without the space) at the end.

You can copy and paste them for each separate section you want to respond to to make it easier.
