I could be being too nitpicky...but I wonder if there is any way to lesson the amount of 'random discussion topics' end up on the first few pages when you click 'view posts since last visit'? Like some way to just keep those threads in that forum section. It just occurs its a bit annoying to have to scroll through 50(slight exaggeration) count to whatever posts to get to any actual discussion topics.

Of course if I am the only one bothered by this, then I think I ought to probably just get over it but was wondering if this annoys anyone else as well.

I think I know what you mean----I'm thinking you're talking about the "What are you eating" / "Post something that made you happy today" type threads..... The problem with removing that forum from "Active Discussions", is that when someone posts a "real" question like "What do you think is the best dog food for my dog?", they may not get many replies, cuz people won't know it's there unless they go to that forum everyday.

Another thing, is that if a forum is removed from "Active Discussions", I THINK that means a spider can't crawl it----and Alex, understandably, isn't gonna have that.

This is really starting to annoy me as well. Trying to figure out the best way to navigate the site, and the "View Posts Since Last Visit" section is basically 90%+ Random Discussion. It's really frustrating because when I see things like that I get a weird compulsion to participate even though it annoys me, and then end up wasting a ton of time. :wall:
