yes from here

the joke is the guy is actually being scammed himself. You can buy the active ingredients in Tesco’s. This guy fell for the classic pyramid scam. He's getting more and more desperate. he is one of many 'distributor' sites.

The solution is simple. Delete.

Or you could IP ban him so the more gullible members of our community aren't suckered.

Mods are only allowed to ban new iterations of the drooling megalomaniac. Ask Alex if you want this guy banned.

Personally, I don't care. I was just thinking of it as a preemptive move to stave off trouble later. Alex never listens to me anyway :P

I dunno... He did say "spammers" not just singular spammer... And this seems to qualify as a spamming, so I have no problem banning him.

It is spamming. Spamming originally meant using a site to advertise your stuff without permission or sending unsolicited emails, etc. The trolling is only called spamming because they use the methods of spammers. He doesn't have permission to advertise and he is clearly trying to get free advertising.

Well, I banned the user name right after I made that last post. Let me know (either via this thread or PM) if he comes back in another incarnation.

Well, I can understand the hesitation since banning is a controversial subject.

Before I banned this user I looked over all of the posts he'd made on WP. Not a single post looked like an attempt to do anything other than sell his product. Accordingly, I have concluded that he is nothing but a spammer. If there were any doubt in my mind, I would not have felt comfortable banning him.

I don't think that we need pages and pages of the word "SPAM" to indicate that something is spam. I doubt that Alex will take issue with my decision.

I'm confused doesn't it normally say 'banned X' under their name in posts?

I think that Alex puts that there when he bans someone. I can't make modifications to user accounts to be able to do that. However, people who are able to view the ban control panel (mods & admins) will see that him on the list of banned user names.

For the record, none of Atomik F***tards latest incarnations have that 'banned X' under the user name, but I assure you that they are all banned.

He's been banned, don't worry.
