Date order in search results.

It would be really neat to be able to select the order in which search results are listed. Trying to find recent/current discussions on a subject is virtually impossible without investigating every search result to see if it's active or not. The present situation easily leads to multiple threads on the same subject. Having search results listed in date order would be a great help.
