Could you please make an "Announcements" forum, in which we could post announcements which are of interest to the autistic community?
(For example: announcements about autistic pride day events, autistic conferences such as Autreat and Autscape, walks, demonstrations etc.)

Unlikely. If we put a new forum up for every request
the front page would be massive. How about a sticky
in the autism/AS discussion? It could be used to provide links to more detailed discussions
of the events.

How about a sub forum within one of the already existing forums?

Sub-forums are a good idea. That way we can have male and female again under adult, we could have the announcements under general autism discussion, we could have NT and AS parents/children discussion, the random and off the wall forums could be merged. Etc. Etc.

They are a great idea. Unfortunately,
I was informed that this BBS software
doesn't support them.

Perhaps Alex will set up hierarchical
fora then. I really would like to see
it. The front page is too cluttered
as it stands.
