I have just dug this thread out, and done so on good grounds that regulars on the chat would find beneficial because it's all starting to get chaotic there

I've dug this out because the chatroom is getting beyond a joke, I've left and will not return until something is done about it

and giving ops to an under-qualified 13 year old, even for trial purposes IS NOT A SMART MOVE!! !

I started going there regularly AFTER being forced out of chatautism, the place has TURNED INTO chatautism, though I've not been bullied in this case

my advice, do something before it's too late and that room cannot be restored to what it once was

Problems I see:

Katesmith keeps insulting herself and Medfly is talking about inducing hypoxia.

Now they're talking about illegally downloading TV shows.

If nothing gets done about the way #wrongplanet is then I will be emailing Alex directly

get something done, and for god's sake get Taggard off ops, and also a wise course of action is to ban katesmith to ensure she doesn't post her address and phone number in there in the future, especially with the amount of unsavoury people the room sometimes attracts

And I'd like to mention too that there is such a thing as overmoderating. I feel as though some ops whose name I WILL not mention have overmodded WP to the point where it's starting to become a police state.

Also, there's been some cliqueism with the ops. Some of the ops have given more flexibility to their friends and less to people they aren't friends with.

We might need new, unbiased, and hands off ops that would only op if there are clear violations of the rules to counterbalance the other ops that are very hands on.

And before some of you ask why I shouldn't volunteer as an op and put my money where my mouth is, I can't. I have a lot of things I have to do, like going to school, getting my black belt, going to work, and preparing for my wedding next year.

Bateau has to go, he banned babybear3333 for no obvious reason, more a personal grudge against her

people who do that should NOT be allowed to op

this is coming from someone who KNOWS how to op properly and not let his feelings get in the way

Considering she threatened channel ops, and kept arguing for over an hour because one person didn't say hi to her in channel, was told a half dozen times to just drop the argument and lmove on, but did not, I think that's pretty justified.
