Horrendous "Error 524" issues

For maybe the last half hour, not sure how long, getting this:

"Error 524 Ray ID: 2db5f67ad8760a8a • 2016-09-01 04:26:46 UTC
A timeout occurred"

Pages load slowly or not at all, resulting in the above page. I wait and try again but it's happening over and over, and 9 times out of ten the above instead of a page loading successfully.

After raging a storm for while, it seems to be okay again. Starting to copy paste my replies though, as it's very haphazard as to when the Error Page of Death appears again right in the middle of reading or typing a post.

It was logging me out after every post as as the error messeges.

Yep, that too -- I was getting logged out again repeatedly even when the "stay" box is checked. That had been chronic a few days ago for about a week too, then calmed down, then started again this evening.

It happens to me alot for some reason at night. Sometimes up to near 20 minutes of error messages. Wish I could donate to the website like I used too but at this point in time I can't

Combination of Error messages and the site logging me out was going strong for about 45 minutes tonight.

Yeah I can confirm the site is a streaming pile of poo tonight, please fix.

I can only access the site through a proxy,

PS - Please don't kill me for using a proxy although given the other stuff I have done that is harmless but could trigger an auto ban, I don't think anyone cares.

The 'Error 524' issue often comes-up while 'Deleting' a post. The 'Error 524' prompt appears after waiting (and waiting) for confirmation that a post was deleted.
