What causes always getting Captcha when posting/previewing?
Occasionally when Captcha pops up on previewing post the message body will be empty, typically if an error happens due to addons I use. Or when posting and getting the captcha the forum page can end up returning an error like "Message body is empty."
Can this happen if people marked your messages as spam or otherwise indicate post is annoying?
If it happens a lot like people see a wall of text post -> report it for spam/disruptive posting/whatever else.
It starts happening a lot of the time if I make like 5+ posts, which I don't feel is unreasonably or constitutes flooding. I do use preview a lot so I can catch grammar/spelling errors, for some reason I'm far more able to catch them by reading over the preview text rather than the entry space. When I don't use preview I often miss them and my experience with forums is that mistakes can lead to your point not being taken seriously or trolls can derail topic by always bringing up "You spelled that incorrectly" or "Tenses are not in agreement."
I always try to proofread my posts.

I wondered if it could be due to being marked by other users because of Disqus, where through an "Auto-Moderator" system your account can be flagged as a spammer just from being marked by others out of dislike or whatever else and will lead to culling out all of your posts automatically if the system identifies a user as a spammer which is just based on number of reports alone therefore IMO encouraging brigading. Imagine if on L&D if users who dislike a viewpoint like say conflicting viewpoints like feminism vs MRA if they could erase opposing viewpoints by mass marking for spam and eventually render the other user unable to post anymore once the quantity reaches a certain critical mass. It all but eliminates the actual spammers automatically but at the same time the system can 100% be abused by users to censor opposing viewpoints.
Captcha is what happens on Disqus first if a user starts getting identified by the system as a spammer due to having been marked by others or sometimes due to post's contents. I believe this happens after the first time, that is to say if at least one person has marked at least one of your message as spam. Then if the user continues getting more messages marked for spam it wipes all of the users posts and any future posts they make. Even website moderators and Disqus admins can't fix it if you're wrongly flagged, they tell you to make a new account and make sure to use a different email and that also you might still be considered spammer due to IP address. On anime site I used to frequent that has Disqus they basically use "mark for spam" as though it's a Dislike or Downvote button like on Reddit.
I stopped participating because I'm a fan of shonen animes(among others too, I like wide variety of animes) and they tend to be a magnet for hate. There is a pejorative term for reference to shonen fans used by other fans that I suspect may not be permissible to post due to the homophobic context of the 3 letter word that is attached onto the end of the term shonen.
I suspected I might be susceptible to similar thing here on WP(being reported out of dislike/spite/disagreement/etc) as my own views are sort of a shade of everything except for true extreme ideologies. Meaning that because my views are somewhere in the middle on things that the extremes on either side would see me as being the exact opposite due to not being fully in agreeance with them when the truth is that I take or leave some aspects from many different viewpoints. So long as their viewpoint is radicalized I think there's potential to learn from almost anyone. My style of questioning could be mistaken for argument but really I am just curious to see elaboration and basically just more, really it's more about interest than literal disagreement.
Theory seems legit to me!

Do you use an editing addon that "saves" your text in case you get logged off while composing a post?

As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already. So I'm requesting my account be locked, banned or whatever. It's just time. Until then, well, I dunno...
No. But I do copy and paste into Notepad a lot. And if it lost my post i try again and paste it off of Notepad.

IDK if this is the right place to post this, I looked for the most appropriate thread I could find rather than posting a new one and i hope it's ok.
This captcha is just out of hand. it's constant. I get that WP needs a capcha, but I don't exist to teach Google's A.I. what sequence I pattern recognize images in which it already recognizes. it's a bit much.
it's nearly every single PM. it's, somewhere between massively annoying and super creepy.
It creeped me out too. Made me think maybe it's like Disqus where if you get reported then stuff like that starts popping up, and an automated system where the reports are just numbers based they don't need merit or a moderator's attention.
You can get censored out on there just for being unpopular or controversial while not violating any rules.

IT SHOULD creep you out.

It does, very much so. On Disqus it's essentially functioning as a mechanism to push unpopular users away from the system.
Don't follow the herd? -> Get more and more inconveniences till it entirely pushes you away from participating anymore.
I actually haven't experienced it on WP in a while but on Disqus the captchas/reporting system are a censorship tool plain and simple. I find anything that resembles George Orwell's 1984 really creeps me out.
