Why did I quit getting replies to watched posts?

I haven't been getting notifications of replies to my watched post the last couple days. I got some but there's lots I didn't get. I haven't changed my email address & I check my spam folder everyday & no watched post notifications have been in there. I can only assume that the site is no longer sending the notifications or just not sending them to me. Does anyone have any idea what's going on This is inconvenient.

The same thing happened to me about 20 hours ago. Not only did I stop getting thread notifications, but also PM notifications.

Like you I did the usual things - check spam folder - then I reconfirmed my email address on my account. In my address book on email I made sure that Wrong Planet's address was there also. My email inbox isn't overflowing so that it can't receive new mails - they arrive from every one else who emails me.

So it is something wrong with WP's system, once again, and sometimes, when you get this darn hassle on top of everything else, you just wish this website was kickable in its backside, with considerable force.

That happened to me, also. I figured it was a conspiracy!

Thanx for replying guys. I wasn't sure if it was just a glitch affecting me or not. Kind of good to know it's not just me. Maybe Alex is working on something, least I hope.

I notice I have some reply notifications now so maybe the glitch if fixed.

Yes. I received 49 notifications this morning from the previous 2 days.

Thank goodness it is fixed now.

I have the opposite problem! I'm set to not receive notifications on threads or PM, but I get them all the time anyway!

It's really frustrating because I just have to delete all the notifications from email.

Also my birthday deleted itself somehow, and wouldn't let me enter it again for a week without the system crashing when I tried.

Is anyone still having any issues with this?

Don't get any e-mails for watched threads or PM's. Do get the e-mails when Alex has a new article though, which makes me laugh every time

I do, but I've been having this problem for a long time. Usually I barely get any notifications and today I got a big chunk of them - some for posts made 2 weeks ago

You must be extraordinarily patient.. that's a very long time.

Not really... I just lose interest and only check the forum when I'm bored or can't sleep.

Yes, I don't receive a lot of notifications anymore (and I haven't unsubscribed).
And sometimes I get the same notification several times, some days apart.
This has been an issue for a couple of months now.

If it wasn't for WP emails I'd hardly have any emails
