Are there any forums where people can discuss history? The only one that really comes to mind would be PPR, but it doesn't seem like it would apply if it wasn't related to a current political or religious issue.

Which period of history did you want to discuss?

None of the forums under Topical discussion really seem to fit the bill and only Alex can create new forums as opposed to new threads.

Perhaps Random Discussion under Off-Topic would be best.

PPR doesn't really feel right for general history unless it's political in nature, such as discussing Roosevelt for example,

Any period really. I guess this is more applicable to stuff from before 1800 since its less likely to be politicized. I mostly had medieval military and economic history in mind I guess.

Go for it, we have quite a few history buffs here.

Could be interesting!

Just post whatever topic is on your mind in "Random Discussion". See if you attract anyone.
